Women Of The World

The following text was copied from "O" The Oprah Magazine:

The idea is JOURNEY

Life is a journey.  We can be fearful tourists, sticking to well worn paths in the hope that the ride will be smooth.  Or we can dare to sail uncharted waters.  This month go somewhere you've never been.  Master a foreign language, taste a new dish or take up a sport.  Why live to regret what you didn't learn, love, or try?

A Pocketful of Wisdom:  Tote them, share them, trade them, pack these nuggets of wisdom in your wallet or pocket as you journey ...

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, bt in
having new eyes"  Quote by:  Marcel Proust

"The beginning is always today."  Quote by:  Mary Wollstonecraft

"To become aware of the possibility of the search is to be onto something."
 Quote by:  Walker Percy

"To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive."
 Quote by:  Robert Louis Stevenson

"I packed my trunks, embraced my friends, embarked on the sea, and at last
wake up in Naples.  And, there beside me is the stern fact, the sad self,
unrelenting, identical, that I fled from.  Quote by:  Ralph Waldo Emerson

"The longest journey is the journey inward."  Quote by:  Dag Hammarskjold

Even the armchair traveler can be a frequent flyer, visiting faraway places and other cultures.  Read at least one book this month that will take you somewhere distant.  Find a Website covering a topic that fascinates you, but that you know nothing about.  Bookmark it and visit it daily.

"One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at
things."  Quote by:  Henry Miller, Writer
